Historic Downtown McKinney is closed off for trick or treaters to cross the streets safely, going shop to shop for goodies. This annual event has grown to hundreds of trick or treaters enjoying treats and interactive activities to celebrate a safe, secure family fun Halloween event. On Halloween evening, enjoy the sights of hundreds of ghosts and goblins young and old in Historic Downtown McKinney. Activities include booths with activities for children such as face painting, bean bag toss and musical chairs. Participants may enjoy a safe, kid-friendly environment as an alternative to trick or treating. Boo Bash is a free community service event sponsored by the Union Program Council and student organizations. The 6th annual Boo Bash – a children's Halloween event open to faculty, staff and the Denton community, will fill the University Union with goblins and spooks Oct. The 7PM "Hauntcert" will feature spooky live music performed by orchestra students in their favorite costumes.
