Here is that Kayaking animation I did in just a few minutes of learning how to use the software.

None really, maybe that I didn't have this a couple years ago I can make pretty amazing gifs, or video files with it Turned a non-artist into a pretty decent animator If you have any sort of creativity, this will provide hours upon hours of entertainment and may even help you make a little bit of money in the right situations. It's still a very solid product though, with many more options than I would have expected. One thing I would like to point out is you can tell it is homebrew, in that it doesn't have all the flashy menus and flare. It was super easy to do, and I was immediately sucked in at that point. I took a wallpaper of two guys kayaking in the lake, and added rain, flowing water, and some clouds. I'm not an artist by any stretch of the imagination, and what the software does is let's you take a still image (nature makes the most sense), and animate elements of it. I have used it to make at least 6 wallpapers in the last couple days, and it reminds me of those moving pictures you buy for your wall for $200 - $400. This started out as just an impulse buy (I know, a little costly but I was really interested in what it said I could do with it), but after using it for a while I am really impressed with this software. Overall has lots of potential and suits my needs at the moment give it a go you will be amazed at some of the effects you can create. undo expected in future developments so do not let this put you off. Unable to create custom animation brushes (yet?) Can add some of your own such as text and upload animations, the built in animations seem really flexable you have a lot of options to play with.Īs new lack of some features I.e. Limited amount of animations (this will grow depending on how much the developer decides to invest in this project). Steam user updates every 3 months (not a problem yet but as I have paid more I would expect major updates around the same time). Nearly twice the price on steam than buying directly (with steam you get lifetime updates, buying directly you only get 6 months). I am very happy so far.Įxports to multiple formats gif, PNG, AVI and lots more.Īctually really fun to mess around with photos you have saved on your pc To begin with its simple to add animations to 2d images, I bought it to use as a quick way to make backgrounds and title screens in game development. I've only been using this for a couple of days.
